Tucked down a cobbled mews in the heart of North West London’s up and coming Queens Park sits Hugo’s a family friendly café-bar-restaurant. Established initially as The Organic Café back in 1994, Hugo’s comes with a pedigree in sustainability, fair trade and fresh ingredients. Reclaimed sanded floor boards from a school in Norfolk, old church chairs and pews, a bar made from Oak from the London storm of 1987 all contribute to a very special space.
Recently Hugo’s has received a re-vamp in terms of décor moving away from the ruby red to a more classic green and cream interior which really comes alive when the candles are lit in the evening.
Open all week except for Monday night’s Hugo’s offers a lovely space to enjoy oneself in be it: breakfast with a bloody Mary, lunch with the kids or a best friend, corporate lunch meeting, drinks after work, dinner a deu or for more……
Imagine if you will a balmy Sunday evening with the outside doors open, the sun streaming through, sweet sounds of the tenor sax being played all washed down with a bottle of our new French dry Organic Rose. After which and a couple of plates of calamares served with garlic aioli you proceed to a main course of butternut squash, seared salmon or a fantastic Rib Eye from our Angus suppliers in Edinburgh.
The idea of Hugo’s is to offer an oasis in the madness of London – where the food created by our Brazilian Head Chef Cesar and the ambience of the restaurant give a truly pleasurable experience.
Originally the home of The Organic Café, Hugo’s still maintains a commitment to using organic ingredients wherever possible. We do our utmost to behave responsibly and ethically and to purchase our ingredients from sustainable, fair-traded, sources.
Our food is prepared freshly in our kitchens every day and there is no element of fast or processed food.
